Ennio Morricone

Hollidaying next week, beena puttin’ together some CD’s for the lengthy road trip. Looked at the blank CDR’s I’ve got left, ten. Now we’re going to France so I’ve got 3x mixes of some fine vintage French action (more of which later), 6x CD’s of general mixes, one CD left, hmmm… got to be Morricone.

Here’s a selection of material from the worlds greatest living composer, some will be familiar to the most casual music fan, other tunes are a bit more obscure. Everything here is from 1965-75 (I think). It’s estimated that he has scored in the region of 500 films, covering a multitude of genres. If I were to choose a favourite Morricone album it would probably be ‘Giu La Testa / Fistful Of Dynamite / Duck You Sucker’ from 1971 (so good it had three titles).

This is what you get.
